I am a 2011 graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. In the summer of 2011, I moved to Chicago and started my creative career at a small marketing communications firm—eventually moving onward and upward and becoming a Senior Designer at Pivot Design. After 3.5 years with Pivot, I moved to the quaint town of Fort Wayne, Indiana in the summer of 2016, and accepted my role as a Senior Art Director at Boyden & Youngblutt.
My professional career has helped me become an all-encompassing creative that can adapt to fast-paced, high-volume needs at the corporate level—be it a new campaign, building and executing a brand vision from the ground up, copywriting, events, general project management, vendor coordination—etc. On the flip side, the more homespun version of my experience and skill takes me back to the fundamentals of using ink and paper—hand-lettering, water coloring, sketching, imagining illustrative logos for a start up company—you name it. Adaptability is key, and perhaps one of the most important things I’ve learned to harness in my career thus far.
In 2012, I was honored to have been featured in CMYK’s Top 100 New Creatives issue for my photography work. Link
